Module 7 – Lesson 2
In this lesson you’ll learn:
- How the COREscore is generated
- How to explain the COREscore to clients
What is the COREscore?
The COREscore report is a simple, one-page explanation of the client’s score and how it is calculated.
To determine the COREscore, we compare the strength of a client’s culture to the measure of their personal obstacles.
Doing the math
The COREscore is calculated by taking a client’s COREculture score and subtracting their COREobstacles score.
- COREculture:
- We take each person’s score, for each of the four metrics, and combine them.
- Each metric has a possible high of 25 points.
- Therefore, a single person’s possible high culture score is 100, and a couple’s possible high score is 200.
- We take each person’s score, for each of the four metrics, and combine them.
- COREobstacles:
- We take each person’s score on the three roadblock measures and combine them.
- Each of the metrics has a possible low of 4 points.
- Therefore, a single person’s possible low obstacles score is 12, and a couple’s possible low score is 24.
- We take each person’s score on the three roadblock measures and combine them.
COREculture – COREobstacles = COREscore
INDIVIDUAL SCORING: 100 – 12 = 88 (highest score possible)
COUPLE SCORING: 200 – 24 = 176 (highest possible score)
